Inaugural Board of Directors Meeting

The Tanzania Women Architects for Humanity (TAWAH) inaugural Board of Directors meeting was held on Saturday, 10 June at the Regency Park Hotel in Dar es Salaam. Congratulations to Mrs. Kaanaeli Makundi, first Chair of the TAWAH Board of Directors! Two Board Committees were formed:

Audit and Finance – Responsible for financial oversight, audit reviews, and marketing

Advocacy and Fundraising – Responsible for strategy, monitoring and evaluation of programs, and networking/external relationships.

With a Board in place, TAWAH seeks to expand its reach and impact by pursuing new funding opportunities and growing its portfolio of projects.
