TAWAH Awarded U.S. Ambassador’s Special Self Help Fund (ASSHF) for completion of the Pongwe Classroom Building Bridges Initiative.

On 29 August, TAWAH was awarded the remaining funds needed to complete construction of the three Pongwe Primary School classrooms. Pongwe Primary School is in need of new and improved classrooms to alleviate overcrowding and better serve the students with sight impairments and albinism.

The new classrooms will greatly improve the learning environment at the school. THANK YOU ASSHF for your contribution to making a long-term impact on the Pongwe students’ academic potential and future opportunities!
