Tanzania Women Architects for Humanity (TAWAH) was formed by Tanzanian women architects and scientists committed to enhancing social justice by mobilizing women to spearhead building adequate shelter in marginalized communities. We aim to alleviate poverty among marginalized groups in Tanzania by applying our expertise to produce quality and affordable shelters and facilitate income generating opportunities.
TAWAH was established in June 2010 and was registered as an NGO under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 in March 2011.
